Pupil Premium
The pupil premium is a grant given by the government to schools in England to decrease the attainment gap for the most disadvantaged children, whether by income or by family upheaval.
In the 2021/22 academic year, the academy will receive the following pupil premium funding:
- £1,345 for every pupil eligible for a free school meal or has been eligible in the past 6 years
- £2,345 for every pupil who has been adopted from care or has been in care

Catch-up Funding
In the academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23 the academy will receive £80 per pupil. The academy will use this funding for specific activities to support the pupils’ education recovery.
